Installation Notes

 

Threadlocker Recommendation

FX uses a medium-strength threadlocker to secure the transfer port to the barrel and prevent it from loosening. Huma-Air recommends applying a medium-strength threadlocking adhesive such as Loctite® 2400 during installation.

Before Disassembly

Always consult the official FX factory exploded parts diagram before dismantling your rifle to ensure correct installation.

Caliber Conversion Information

 

When changing calibers, keep the following in mind:

Converting from a larger caliber to a smaller caliber

No modifications to the shroud or moderator are normally required, as the existing bore diameter will already be sufficient.

Converting to a larger caliber

Inspect the internal bore of your shroud and moderator, a larger bore may be needed to suit the new caliber.

Huma-Air recommends using the larger bore sizes for telescopic shrouds to allow for normal movement and help prevent pellet clipping.
