How It Works:
- The solar panel charges its own built-in battery. Then that battery powers the camera.
- You can use the solar panel with any (or no) batteries installed in the camera. For the greatest reliability and fewest trips to the field, we recommend using both the solar panel and the rechargeable battery.
- The camera will consume power from the solar panel battery first, and the AA’s will act as a backup power source. The solar panel will not attempt to charge AA’s.
